Масса тела человека характеризует особенности обменных, энергетических, гормональных и других процессов, происходящих в организме человека. Отклонения от нормальных параметров массы тела влияет на соматическое, физическое, психическое здоровье человека. Анализ морфофункциональных характеристик и двигательных особенностей юношей-студентов с недостаточной массой тела является актуальным в связи с недостаточной изученностью данного вопроса.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Обследованы 1514 студентов Иркутского национального исследовательского технического университета в возрасте от 17лет до 21 года. Проведено антропометрическое и физиометрическое обследование, определено содержание мышечной и жировой массы в теле, рассмотрены двигательные качества юношей с нормальной массой тела и дефицитом массы с градацией «ниже среднего» и «низкая».</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Дефицит массы тела выявлен у 209 (13,8%) обследованных юношей, из них 134 (64,1%) студента имеют градацию дефицита массы тела «ниже среднего» и значением показателя в интервале сигмального отклонения от М = –1 σ до М = –2 σ и 75 (35,9%) юношей градацию «низкая», где значение показателя менее М = –2 σ. Установлены достоверные отличия между морфофункциональными показателями и результатами в двигательных тестах студентов, имеющих дефицит массы тела, и нормовесными студентами. Показатели антропометрических и физиометрических характеристик, двигательных тестов, содержание мышечной и жировой массы в теле всех юношей, имеющих дефицит массы тела, ниже по сравнению с показателями юношей, имеющих нормальную массу тела (р &lt; 0,05). Отмечена зависимость между снижением уровня развития двигательных качеств и уменьшением массы тела студентов.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Полученные результаты позволяют скорректировать учебный процесс по валеологическому и физическому воспитанию студентов вуза с использованием интегративных педагогических методов и приёмов обучения.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. The body weight of the person characterizes features of the exchange, power, hormonal, etc. the processes happening in a human body. Deviations from normal parameters of body weight affects somatic, physical, mental human health. The analysis of morfofunctsional characteristics and motive features of youth students with insufficient body weight is relevant in connection with insufficient study of the matter. </p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. 1514 students of the Irkutsk University at the age of 17-21 years are examined. Anthropometrical and physiometric examination was preformed, the maintenance of muscle and fatty bulk in a body was determined, motive qualities of young men with the normal body weight and deficiency of weight with gradation “below an average” and “low” are considered. </p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The deficiency of body weight is revealed at 209 examined young men (13.8%), out of them 134 students (64.1%) have gradation of deficiency of body weight “below an average” and value of an index in the range of a sigma deviation from M = -1 σ to M = -2 σ and 75 young (35.9%) men - gradation “low” where value of an index less than A M = -2 σ. Reliable differences between morfofunctional indices and results in motive tests of the students having deficiency of body weight and normal weight students are established. Indices of anthropometrical and physiometric characteristics, motive tests, the maintenance of muscle and fatty bulk in a body of all young men having deficiency of body weight are lower in comparison with indices of the young men having normal body weight (р &lt;0.05). The dependence between decrease in the level of development of motive qualities and reduction of body weight of students is noted. </p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions.
