России ежегодно образуется около 400 тыс. тонн отходов I класса опасности (чрезвычайно опасные) и II класса опасности (высокоопасные).</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. В Программу включены исследования по определению загрязнений вредными химическими соединениями – компонентами отходов, складируемых на Полигоне «Красный Бор» в радиусе 1–4 км в период с 2009 по 2013 г. Исследованы пробы воды, донных отложений, почвы, атмосферного воздуха. Использованы методы газовой и жидкостной хроматографии с высокочувствительными детекторами, а также инфракрасной спектрометрии.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Во всех точках отбора по исследуемым приоритетным веществам, характерным для состава отходов, складируемых на Полигоне, превышений ПДК атмосферного воздуха не обнаружено. Исследования воды, донных отложений из каналов Полигона, почвы на границе 1-километровой зоны выявили загрязнение химическими веществами выше гигиенических нормативов по ряду химических показателей. Установлено интенсивное загрязнение сточных вод и донных отложений Полигона целым рядом соединений из отходов, в том числе хлорорганическими соединениями, нефтепродуктами, тяжёлыми металлами, неравномерное загрязнение почвы в 1-километровой зоне от Полигона в северном и западном направлениях – в направлении перспективной жилой застройки – свинцом, медью, цинком, нефтепродуктами, полихлорированными бифенилами, бенз(а)пиреном), суммой ксилолов.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Полученные результаты свидетельствуют о неблагоприятном влиянии Полигона на окружающую среду. Территория Полигона приведена в стабильное безаварийное состояние для дальнейшей выработки комплекса мер в плановом режиме.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. Russia annually produces about 400 thousand tons of Hazard Class I (extremely hazardous) and Hazard Class II (highly hazardous) wastes. </p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. The Program includes the study of the hazardous chemical pollution produced by the waste disposed at the Krasny Bor Landfill within a radius of 1–4 km over the period from 2009 to 2013. Samples of water, sediments, soil, and atmospheric air were analyzed by gas and liquid chromatography with highly sensitive detectors, as well as IR spectroscopy.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. At all sampling sites, the air concentrations of priority pollutants characteristic of the waste disposed at the Landfill did not exceed the MAC level. Analysis of water and sediments from channels at the Landfill showed that the concentrations of a number of chemical pollutants at the border of the 1-km zone exceed the corresponding regulatory standards. Heavy pollution of wastewater and bottom sediments at the Landfill with some waste components, including organochlorine compounds, oil products, and heavy metals, as well as uneven pollution of soil in the 1-km zone from the Landfill in the northern and western directions, i.e. toward the potential residential development, with lead, copper, zinc, petroleum products, polychlorinated biphenyls, benzo[a]pyrene, and xylene isomers was revealed. </p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The resulting data provides evidence for the adverse environmental impact of the Krasny Bor Landfill.
