На территории Зауральской зоны Республики Башкортостан (РБ) расположены многочисленные месторождения полиметаллических руд с различным содержанием ртути. Кроме того, металлическую ртуть использовали на золотоизвлекательных фабриках с целью извлечения золота амальгамированием, в результате чего этот металл накапливался в хвостах и эфельных отвалах и поступал из них в окружающую среду.</p><p>Цель работы – изучить половозрастные особенности содержания ртути в волосах жителей данной территории.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. В период с 2013 по 2018 г. обследованы 279 клинически здоровых жителей Зауралья РБ. Волосы отбирали с затылочной части головы, согласно стандартной методике ВОЗ. Анализ волос проводили методом масс-спектрометрии с индуктивно связанной аргоновой плазмой. Полученные данные статистически оценивались с использованием программы Statistica 6.0, при этом статистически значимыми считались различия при p &lt; 0,05.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Распределение содержания ртути в волосах обследованных лиц (102 мужчины и 177 женщин) отличалось от нормального. Медиана (Me) содержания ртути в волосах обследованных лиц составила 0,072 мкг/г для мужчин и 0,122 мкг/г для женщин, что не превышает показатели для Республики Башкортостан (0,58 и 0,47 мкг/г для мужчин и женщин соответственно). Повышенный риск для здоровья населения имели 1,4% детей, 2,3% подростков и 13,2% взрослых жителей.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. В результате проведённого исследования выявлены повышенные концентрации ртути в волосах у ряда жителей Зауральской зоны Башкортостана, что требует усиления контроля над уровнем тяжёлых металлов в атмосферном воздухе, почве, воде, продуктах питания и проведения мероприятий по снижению риска для здоровья населения.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. A large number of gold and pyrite deposits are located on the territory of the Trans-Ural zone of the Republic of Bashkortostan (RB). A characteristic concomitant component of ores of deposits of this kind is mercury. For the extraction of gold by amalgamation, metallic mercury was also used, which accumulated in the tailings and dumps of the runner gold recovery plants and came from them into the environment. </p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. To study the age and sex characteristics of the content of mercury in the hair of the inhabitants of the area. In the period from 2013 to 2018. an analytical transverse uncontrolled study was conducted, in which 279 clinically healthy residents of the Trans-Ural zone of the RB. A sampling of hair was carried out according to standard WHO methodology from the back of the head. Chemical-analytical studies of samples were carried out in the licensed laboratory of the Center for Biotic Medicine (Moscow) by mass spectrometry with inductively coupled argon plasma. Statistical analysis was performed using Statistica 6.0, with p&lt;0.05, the differences were assessed as statistically significant. </p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The distribution of mercury in the hair of the examined individuals (102 men and 177 women) differed from the normal. The median (Me) content of mercury in the hair of the studied individuals was 0.072 µg/g for men and 0.122 µg / g for women, which does not exceed the indices for the Republic of Bashkortostan (0.58 and 0.47 µg/g for men and women, respectively). 1.4% of children, 2.3% of adolescents and 13.2% of adult residents had an increased risk of health.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
