При этом ряд Международных организаций имеют диаметрально противоположные точки зрения. Например, Международное агентство по исследованию рака (IARC), принадлежащая ВОЗ, в мае 2011 году опубликовало свое решение о том, что ЭМИ мобильных телефонов могут являться промоторами опухоли мозга глиомы по группе 2В (1).
